Clare grew up in South Africa and graduated in 1999 from the University of Cape Town.  She worked in both Cape Town and the United Kingdom where she gained membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners.

In 2020 she moved to Tauranga with her husband and 3 children and they are enjoying life in the Bay of Plenty.

Clare enjoys all aspects of family medicine, particularly woman and child health. She also loves developing good relationships with patients and their families and partnering with them in their own health journeys.  When not at work she loves to run, hike, cook, play the piano and travel.
