Lara grew up in England and graduated from the University of Leeds in 2011. She moved to Mount Maunganui in 2013, where she
completed her GP training with a special interest in Palliative Medicine. Her other interests include Children’s Health and
Women’s Health. Since completing her training, Lara spent time working in Auckland and the UK before returning to Mount
Maunganui.
Lara loves the relaxed lifestyle of the Mount and in her spare time spends time with her young children, or out running or surfing.
